david lynch ambiance at the shattuck low down
red wine on the carpet, covered in salt
red booths at the donut shop, linden and i do the twist
long drive in the gold convertable
hotel with mother and dad, dad is tired
house of nanking with cousins
ice skaters at union square, tops of buildings disappear in the fog, steam billows through the grates in the road and rolls up the street

one more day in san francisco
monday to the airport
tonight old movies and the sound of my parents munching chocolates
i feel like a seven year old not ready to go back to sleep away camp
totally goddamned lost
