paul éluard (reprise)

The earth is blue like an orange,
Not an error, words don't lie,
They don't give you more to sing
About kissing to understand
Madmen and loves.
She, her mouth a wedding ring-
All the secrets, all the smiles-
And such indulgent clothes
That I think her quite naked.

The wasps flower green,
The dawn passes around her neck-
A necklace of windows-
Wings cover the leaves.
You have all the solar joys,
All the sun on the earth
On the paths of your beauty.
