tarte au citron vert

don't put the horse before the tart.
finish what you've tarted.
when they're good they're great, when they're bad they're tarture.
it takes a long time to get over a broken tart.
time to tart wrapping it up for the night.

long pull down the wing of the back. there. pull yourself up. pull harder. now the other side. hips to the left, to balance the arms where they are reaching, tuck the body in over the toes, left leg to ten o'clock, step on it. sweat shines on your arms and legs. do not let them stop moving. up. in this moment, everyone is frozen, and i, too, am frozen, but moving frozen, through stolen time, by way of gravity, if you might, don't, do not, just hang on a bit tighter, but not too tight, just tight enough, and use your hips to steer, your legs to propel, feet for precision, hands leading always.
